From home charging to highway charging

Home charging

Start with the Pulse charger on your wall (typical 60 km day in about 90 minutes, from KES 79,000), add the Pod charger when you want storage for weak-grid evenings (from KES 295,000), or keep the Spark charger in the boot (about 180 minutes from a normal socket). A home charging day costs about KES 140 instead of about KES 850 in petrol.

Fleet charging

The Depot charging station adds 40+ kWh in about 120 minutes while vehicles are parked. Boda Hub swaps a fresh battery in under 5 minutes.

Highway charging

Solar on a hub canopy does not replace Kenya Power. Planning figures: a 40–80 kWp canopy yields roughly 180–440 kWh/day and covers about 12–30% of an illustrative 1,500 kWh/day hub. Utilisation and tariff classification move payback more than charger brochure efficiency.
